Reading Eagle Letter to the Editor: Republicans once again turn to out-of-state candidate
- The Republicans are doing it again. They are backing a non-Pennsylvania candidate for a major statewide office because they believe a true Pennsylvania resident isn’t smart enough.
- Pennsylvania voters are much smarter than Republicans give us credit for. We don’t need another millionaire outsider who sent his children to schools outside Pennsylvania.
- Some may be impressed and not care that GOP Senate candidate David McCormick has homes and a mansion outside Pennsylvania and spends a great deal of his time away from the state, but discerning voters do care. What does McCormick know or care about our great state?
- The ad says that you should […] hire Dave McCormick, from who knows where, and everything will be just dandy. Doesn’t sound like a good plan. Where does this Dave guy live, and how do we get a hold of him if we have a problem?
