PENNSYLVANIA — January 5th marks the anniversary of the 2021 Harrisburg Capitol “Hear Us Roar” protest that served as a warm-up act for the next day’s events that culminated with the attack on the U.S. Capitol.
Our state’s highest ranking extremist, Treasurer Stacy Garrity implored people to “question the integrity” of our valid election and called on the legislature to throw out the votes of all Pennsylvanians in an effort to overturn the 2020 presidential election. She never condemned the insurrectionist or accepted any responsibility for being among the instigators of the insurrection.
Please join Democratic endorsed Treasurer candidate Ryan Bizzarro on January 5th at 11am at the Harrisburg Capitol Building for a news conference to commemorate this dark day in Pennsylvania’s history and to commit to “Defend Our Democracy” from extremists like Garrity and to pledge our allegiance to our nation and all for which it stands.
