PENNSYLVANIA WOMEN BLAST DAVID MCCORMICK AND DONALD TRUMP’S ANTI-CHOICE AGENDA

McCormick Called the Overturning of Roe v. Wade “A Huge Victory”

Trump Said He Was “Proudly Responsible” for Overturning Roe v. Wade

PENNSYLVANIA — Today, ahead of the second anniversary of the Supreme Court ruling that overturned Roe v. Wade, the Pennsylvania Democratic Party hosted a roundtable of Pennsylvania women who said David McCormick and Donald Trump’s anti-choice agenda is disqualifying.

“The overturning of Roe v. Wade two years ago brought us back decades to a time when women were unable to make healthcare decisions over their own body,” said Representative Carol Hill-Evans. “Now, David McCormick and the guy we kicked out of the White House four years ago are promising to take us back even further by banning abortion nationally with no exceptions for rape or incest. They must be rejected.”

“Young women in Lancaster and across Pennsylvania are facing a world without the same reproductive rights that I had because of David McCormick and Donald Trump’s dangerous anti-choice agenda,” said Nikki Rivera, Manheim Township School Board President. “This November, Pennsylvania must vote Biden-Harris and Casey to preserve this great nation’s ability to choose their reproductive path. Minding one’s own uterus is key in this election.”
