PENNSYLVANIA — Yesterday, David McCormick admitted investing billions in China, including in companies blacklisted by the U.S. government for human rights violations and ties to the Chinese military.

- During a campaign event on Thursday, Pennsylvania Senate candidate David McCormick openly acknowledged his extensive record of business dealings in China, a major weakness of his campaign.
- “He’ll [Sen. Bob Casey (D)] ignore the serious ideas we’ve discussed today,” McCormick contended. “He’s going to say, ‘McCormick himself did business in China.’ He’s going to say, ‘Bridgewater did business in China.’ And it did. These attacks are predictable.”
- In addition to putting millions of dollars into Chinese investments, McCormick taught other companies how to outsource jobs overseas.
