Despite Ties To Fake Electors, McCormick is Refusing to Answer Questions About Trump
Trump is Expected to Be Booked in Georgia Later Today
PENNSYLVANIA — Last night Donald Trump, in an interview with Tucker Carlson, called his indictments “trivial, nonsense,” and today he is set to turn himself in to authorities in Georgia. Despite these developments, David McCormick still refuses to answer questions about the former president.
Recent reporting revealed multiple ties between McCormick and Trump’s fake elector plot, including nearly $40,0000 paid to Mike Roman, a political operative for Trump who is also facing charges in Georgia.
Another fake elector, Sam DeMarco, is heading McCormick’s PAC, PA Rising. McCormick recently appeared at an event with DeMarco, but refused to answer any questions “on the Trump indictment, DeMarco’s role as a fraudulent elector, whether DeMarco would continue as chairperson of McCormick’s PAC, and whether McCormick would endorse Trump for president in 2024.”
As more and more fake elector ties are revealed, David McCormick needs to stop hiding from Pennsylvanians and answer their pressing questions.
