PENNSYLVANIA — On National Women’s Health Week, David McCormick’s support for an abortion ban with no exceptions for rape or incest is back in the spotlight.
State Representative Morgan Cephas called McCormick out for trying to hide his anti-choice agenda during an interview on Philadelphia’s WURD radio this week.

- Representative Morgan Cephas: We do see one extreme party that believes the only singular issue we should be focusing on is limiting abortion access for women that need to take advantage of that service.
- Representative Morgan Cephas: Republicans just keep doubling down on this issue. And you see some of them are trying to back away from it…You can’t at the same time say that you want a national ban with no exceptions in one election and say that during one election and then remove it from your website in the next election like the Republican candidate for Senate, McCormick, has just recently done. … You can’t have it both ways, and we’ve seen their true colors with this issue and they have to own that.
