Like Trump, McCormick Supports the Disastrous 2017 Tax Giveaway and Wants to Roll Back the Inflation Reduction Act
PENNSYLVANIA — In a recent interview with right-wing podcast host and former Trump aide, Sean Spicer, David McCormick made his support for Donald Trump’s dangerous agenda crystal clear, saying “I obviously support President Trump’s policies.”
McCormick’s admission follows his long record of supporting legislation like Trump’s tax giveaway for the wealthy and comes after Trump told WGAL’s Barbara Barr that he was comfortable with states monitoring women’s pregnancies.
Pennsylvania Democratic Party spokesperson TaNisha Cameron issued the following statement:
“Donald Trump has recently suggested women’s pregnancies should be monitored, has repeatedly threatened Social Security and Medicare, and said states banning abortion was a ‘beautiful thing’ — and David McCormick endorsed all of it.”
