McCormick: “We Need to Make Permanent” the 2017 Tax Corporate Tax Giveaway
The 2017 Corporate Tax Giveaway Raised Taxes for Over 375,000 Pennsylvania Families
PENNSYLVANIA — Former hedge fund executive and mega-millionaire David McCormick supports the disastrous 2017 corporate tax giveaway that raised taxes for over 375,000 Pennsylvania families.
Pennsylvania Democratic Party spokesperson Maddy McDaniel made the following statement:
“David McCormick doesn’t care that the 2017 tax giveaway raised taxes on working people, as long as big corporations and mega-millionaires like him get their tax breaks. Pennsylvanians don’t want to be represented by a hedge fund executive who cares more about enriching himself and his Wall Street friends than fighting for working Pennsylvanians.”
Here’s How David McCormick’s Corporate Tax Giveaway Hurt Pennsylvanians:
- Over 375,000 Pennsylvania families paid MORE in taxes after the 2017 Tax giveaway.
- Meanwhile, big businesses saw $1 trillion in tax cuts.
- Overall the 2017 tax giveaway added $1.9 trillion to the national debt.
- The law gave tax breaks to companies that outsource jobs overseas, hurting Pennsylvania workers.
